  • Sinopia for Albaquerque Fresco - sinopia is a composition study done directly on arriccio layer of plaster using red oxide pigment. During pre and early renaissance sinopia was the main method to develop the composition for fresco painting and to present the design to the patron. During the painting process sinopie would be completely covered by the painting layer of plaster piece by piece as fresco painting progressed.
