Sgraffito Fresco Foundations OnLine Workshop – February 15-and-22 2025

Special focus on Fireplace Mantel – details and step-by-step process overview.

We will work on the entire process from concept rendering to final seal.

Sgraffito Fresco Foundations Interactive OnLine Workshop is a direct followup to Advanced Fresco Plaster Workshop and our BFF Volume 1: Fresco Plaster tutorial (part of FS Membership).

Workshop includes Two 3+ hrs Livestream OnLine Workshop Units and One 4+ hrs Livestream OnLine Follow-Along Practice Session. Limited to 5 students in class, FS Membership is required to attend (available for purchase at the time of registering for the workshop, see tickets below). Our Advanced Fresco Plaster OnLine Workshop is not required, but strongly suggested.

Schedule:

Saturday, February 15, 2025:

9:00 AM – 12:30 PM PST: Sgraffito Fresco Foundations Part 1 (FSF-P1 FSW Workshop Unit)
includes: sgraffito plasters & techniques, supports – brief revisit of wall, panel, tile.

1:00 PM – 4:30PM PST: Sgraffito Fresco Foundations Part 2 (FSF-P2 FSW Workshop Unit)
includes: styles & variations – lace, roman and renaissance; 2-tone 3-tone and multi-color.

Following Saturday, February 22, 2025
9:30 AM – 2:30 PM PST: Follow-Along Practice Session (FAPS FSW Unit)
includes: 5 specific application follow along demos selected based on the class feedback.
